Miller's Health Systems provides free training for people interested in becoming Certified Nursing Assistants. Students must complete classroom instruction and supervised clinical training, then pass the state exam to become a Certified Nurse's Aide. The program includes 36–40 hours of classroom work and 75 hours of supervised practicum in a long-term care facility. Students must meet course attendance, testing, clinical skills, documentation, and screening requirements to complete the program and qualify for the state exam. Students who successfully complete the course receive a certificate of completion and a scheduled test date. Miller's Merry Manor pays for the scheduled test, and one retake, for students who are hired and remain in good standing as employees. Students who are not employees receive their application and certificate of completion and must schedule and pay for their own test.
