About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for Pacsun products, brands, fashion, and trends. The associate carries out initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team, contributes positively to the store team, and consistently provides an exceptional customer experience. This is a part-time position requiring availability for 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods. The role includes delivering authentic customer service, supporting sales and operational goals, completing digital sales such as ship-from-store and BOPIS, maintaining visual and store standards, and complying with company, safety, and loss-prevention policies. Associates are expected to contribute to a positive working environment and develop their knowledge of products, brands, fashion, and trends.

Requirements

Passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time-management skills.
Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Frequently sit or stand for extended periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Focus on full-price selling while remaining aware of product value and promotions.
Handle customer situations according to policy and procedures, seek solutions, and partner with leadership on escalated issues.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards as directed by management.
Maintain organization and cleanliness to promote a safe working and shopping environment.
Comply with company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, the Safety Program, and Loss Prevention policies.
Communicate Loss Prevention violations to leadership or through the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events, and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship-from-store and BOPIS.
Represent the Pacsun brand and fashion image, including adherence to Employee Appearance Guidelines.
Contribute to a positive working environment and work productively as a team member.
