About The Position

The Bistro at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Bistro Server to join their team in a full-time, year-round role. This position involves providing attentive and personalized table service while creating a welcoming dining atmosphere for hotel guests and local visitors. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building connections with guests, and being part of a collaborative restaurant team. Requirements

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service throughout their dining experience
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards
Answer guest questions regarding menu items, daily specials, and beverage selections
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
Process guest payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
Assist with opening and closing side work, including setting tables, stocking service stations, and maintaining dining room cleanliness
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to provide exceptional service
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company service standards
