About The Position

As a Bistro Attendant, you take pride in offering our guests a seasonally inspired drink and food menu, a warm conversation and maybe a story or two. Your engaging personality will ensure our guests look forward to relaxing with you before or after a long day. This role guarantees at least $14.00 per hour including tips.

Requirements

• A professional demeanor, a warm and welcoming personality, and ability to engage easily and actively connect with others is required.
• Must be genuinely caring, compassionate, and comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• The Bistro/Bartender Attendant role requires standing for long periods of time, or entire shift.
• Professional appearance and clean uniform.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 30 pounds without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous bartending experience is a big plus.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine care
• Deliver highly attentive service
• Engage in polite conversation as time allows
• Be fully informed of the Bistro menu
• Prepare the food for the same day as well as upcoming days
• Set up Bistro for the shift you are working (AM/PM)
• Look over inventory and communicate orders with primary manager
• Cook food
• Serve food and drinks
• Set up and maintain cleanliness of Bistro and kitchen
• Process all payment methods
• Follow the company policies for dropping cash, open and closing the cashier
• Clean up after your shift and prepare for the next shift
• Maintain clean safe environment both in Bistro and in kitchen
• Ensure the Bistro and its equipment are clean and fully functional
• Occasionally diffuse difficult situations
• Comply with all liquor laws
