About The Position

Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking a Billing Clerk in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role assists with all areas of the Billing Department, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed on time. The position involves working with project managers, a supervisor, and a manager to coordinate billing, work orders, paperwork, job submittals, and inventory records.

Requirements

Associate degree in Finance and/or Business, or equivalent work experience.
Must be a self-starter and able to work with a diverse group of construction personnel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel.
Dependability and a strong work ethic.
Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AS400.
T&M billing experience.
AIA billing experience.

Responsibilities

Interact daily with Project Managers to issue billings in a timely fashion.
Maintain the billings log and track billing deadlines using AS400.
Work daily with the supervisor and manager to assist with work orders and paperwork, job submittals, and electronic inventory updates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
