Bilingual Staffing Specialist
About The Position
Surge Staffing is hiring a full-time, permanent Bilingual Staffing Specialist (English/Spanish) for an internal role. The position is suited to a motivated, customer-focused professional with sales, customer service, recruiting, or business development experience who wants to build a career in staffing and workforce solutions. The specialist serves clients, candidates, and temporary employees in both English and Spanish, supports recruiting and onboarding, develops client relationships and business opportunities, and contributes to branch operations and growth. The role requires local travel to client locations as needed.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- At least 1 year of sales experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven approach.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to client locations as needed.
- Professional phone presence and a customer-focused attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or business development.
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Skills in bilingual communication, customer service, recruiting, talent acquisition, sales, business development, relationship management, lead generation, account management, interviewing, human resources, or Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customer service to clients and temporary employees in English and Spanish.
- Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
- Source candidates using job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
- Match candidate skills and experience with client staffing needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and temporary associates.
- Conduct follow-up calls to support employee satisfaction and successful placements.
- Assist Spanish-speaking applicants and employees through hiring and onboarding.
- Generate and develop business opportunities through sales and networking.
- Conduct client service calls and outside sales visits to maintain and grow business partnerships.
- Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions for customers.
- Support branch operations with administrative and data-entry tasks.
- Assist with employee coaching, performance management, and retention.
- Resolve employee and client concerns professionally and promptly.
- Support branch growth initiatives and contribute to revenue goals.
