About The Position

Surge Staffing is hiring a motivated, customer-focused Bilingual Staffing Specialist to support staffing and workforce solutions. This full-time, permanent internal position is suited to an English/Spanish-fluent professional with sales experience who wants to build a career in staffing. The role involves recruiting and onboarding candidates, serving clients and temporary employees, developing business relationships, and supporting branch operations and growth.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• At least 1 year of sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven approach.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to client locations as needed.
• Professional phone presence and a customer-focused attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or business development.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Skills in bilingual communication, customer service, recruiting, talent acquisition, sales, business development, relationship management, lead generation, account management, interviewing, human resources, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and temporary employees in English and Spanish.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard candidates; source applicants through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
• Match candidates’ skills and experience to client staffing needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and temporary associates, and follow up to support satisfaction and successful placements.
• Assist Spanish-speaking applicants and employees throughout hiring and onboarding.
• Generate business opportunities through sales and networking; conduct client service calls and outside sales visits to maintain and grow partnerships.
• Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions for customers.
• Support branch operations with administrative and data-entry tasks.
• Assist with employee coaching, performance management, and retention.
• Resolve employee and client concerns professionally and promptly.
• Support branch growth initiatives and contribute to revenue goals.
