About The Position
Surge Staffing is seeking a motivated, energetic, customer-focused Bilingual Staffing Specialist (English/Spanish) for a full-time, permanent internal position. The role offers an opportunity to build a career in staffing and workforce solutions. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, communicates effectively, and enjoys building relationships with clients, candidates, and employees in a fast-paced environment. The specialist provides bilingual customer service, recruits and onboards candidates, matches candidates to client staffing needs, and builds client and employee relationships. The role also supports business development, sales, branch operations, employee retention, and revenue growth. Local travel to client locations may be needed. Requirements
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- At least 1 year of sales experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, results-driven approach.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to client locations as needed.
- Professional phone presence and a customer-focused attitude.

- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or business development.
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees in English and Spanish.
- Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
- Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
- Match candidate skills and experience with client staffing needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and temporary associates.
- Conduct follow-up calls to support employee satisfaction and successful placements.
- Assist Spanish-speaking applicants and employees throughout hiring and onboarding.
- Generate and develop new business opportunities through sales and networking.
- Conduct client service calls and outside sales visits to maintain and grow business partnerships.
- Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions for customers.
- Support branch operations with administrative and data-entry tasks.
- Assist with employee coaching, performance management, and retention efforts.
- Resolve employee and client concerns professionally and promptly.
- Support branch growth initiatives and contribute to revenue goals.
