About The Position

Surge Staffing is seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Bilingual Staffing Specialist (English/Spanish) for a full-time, permanent internal position. This entry-level sales and customer service role is suited to someone with sales, customer service, recruiting, or business development experience who wants to build a career in staffing and workforce solutions. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, communicates effectively, and enjoys building relationships with clients, candidates, and employees in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• At least 1 year of sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to client locations as needed.
• Professional phone presence and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees in English and Spanish.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
• Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
• Match candidate skills and experience with client staffing needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and temporary associates.
• Conduct follow-up calls to support employee satisfaction and successful placements.
• Assist Spanish-speaking applicants and employees throughout hiring and onboarding.
• Generate and develop new business opportunities through sales and networking.
• Perform client service calls and outside sales visits to maintain and grow business partnerships.
• Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions for customers.
• Support branch operations with administrative and data entry tasks.
• Assist with employee coaching, performance management, and retention efforts.
• Resolve employee and client concerns professionally and promptly.
• Support branch growth initiatives and contribute to revenue goals.
