About The Position

Midway Staffing is seeking a motivated and experienced Bilingual Staffing Branch Manager to lead our Aurora, IL branch. This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall success of the branch, including operations, team development, client relations, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the staffing industry, proven leadership skills, and fluency in both English and Spanish. You will be empowered to run this market as if it were your own business, with direct impact on fill rates, retention, client satisfaction, revenue, and branch profitability.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in the staffing industry required.
  • Proven knowledge of HR management and strategy, including recruitment, talent development, employee relations, and workforce planning.
  • A track record of hitting branch KPIs: fill rate, retention, attendance, revenue, and client satisfaction.
  • Experience coaching recruiters and account managers to performance goals, including turning around underperformers.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, required.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of modern recruiting techniques, including online and social media recruiting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Sharp organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay steady and effective in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or similar tools.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Run the day-to-day operations of the branch, including payroll, reporting, and recruitment activity.
  • Set clear KPIs for your team, coach them to hit those numbers, and celebrate when they do.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding job orders, temporary employee concerns, and business inquiries.
  • Support the branch sales representative and assist in developing new accounts by building relationships at all levels of client organizations.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and guide the team to recognize and pursue them.
  • Anticipate client workforce needs and potential issues to prevent escalations.
  • Develop and implement new and creative strategies for sourcing both active and passive talent.
  • Set and clearly communicate goals and incentives for staff.
  • Analyze branch performance metrics weekly and monthly to track progress against goals.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management, HR, and Compliance to ensure safety protocols are maintained at branches and client sites.
  • Participate in the interview and selection process for new branch team members.
  • Train and coach team members on essential skills for success.
