About The Position

At PNC, employees work together to deliver a strong customer experience and contribute to an inclusive workplace. This is a full-time, in-office Teller position in PNC's Retail banking organization, based in Wilkes Barre Township, Pennsylvania. English and Spanish bilingual ability is required. PNC does not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT for this position. The Teller delivers customer interactions intended to support customers' financial wellbeing and build loyalty. The role processes customer transactions, explains available options, identifies banking opportunities, and makes appropriate referrals. It also involves engaging customers in the branch lobby, introducing PNC products and helping customers use technology, tools, and resources to manage financial transactions. The Teller uses product and procedural knowledge to address customer problems, follows policies and procedures, exercises sound judgment within established limits, and completes daily teller and branch operations and maintenance transactions efficiently and accurately. The position emphasizes customer focus and effective risk management in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

Bilingual English/Spanish ability is required.
Spanish-speaking ability is preferred in the language assessment.
Prior experience is not required.
No degree is required; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Deliver customer experiences aimed at improving financial wellbeing and building customer loyalty.
Process a variety of customer interactions and educate customers about alternatives for financial interactions.
Identify banking opportunities through meaningful customer conversations and make appropriate referrals to branch staff.
Perform lobby engagement activities and position PNC products to meet customer needs.
Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems.
Follow policies and procedures and exercise sound judgment within established limits.
Complete daily teller and branch operations and maintenance transactions efficiently and accurately.
Manage risks associated with business objectives and activities in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
