About The Position

ACE Cash Express is seeking energetic, personable, sales-oriented Sales Associates to provide customer service and sell the company’s financial products and services. Associates earn hourly pay plus bonus incentives, with a stated pay range of $18.00–$19.50 per hour. A $1,000 signing bonus is offered in two installments: $400 after 45 days upon successful completion of the New Hire Curriculum, and $600 after 120 days upon successful completion of 90 days of employment. Employees must be in good standing and on active status to receive payment.

The role involves understanding customers’ needs, recommending appropriate products and services, communicating empathetically, and building trust and lasting customer relationships. Services vary by store and may include cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services. Associates are expected to prioritize accuracy, confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and safety. Travel is primarily local and may include visiting more than one store in a day when necessary. The work is performed in a secure, enclosed area, and scheduled shifts are typically eight hours and occasionally up to 12 hours. California-required meal and rest breaks are provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, typically eight hours and occasionally up to 12 hours.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to sit, walk, reach, stoop, bend, communicate verbally, and actively listen.
• Ability to see clearly at close and distant ranges and adjust focus as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a secure, enclosed work area.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish proficiency is welcomed in most markets.
• Two or more years of retail experience is beneficial.
