Bilingual Sales Associate
About The Position
ACE Cash Express is seeking energetic, personable, sales-oriented Sales Associates to serve customers and support store operations. The role offers hourly pay of $18.00–$19.50 plus bonus incentives, with a $1,000 signing bonus: $400 payable 45 days after successful completion of the New Hire Curriculum and $600 payable 120 days after successful completion of 90 days of employment. Employees must be in good standing and on active status to receive the payments. Sales Associates learn customers’ needs, recommend ACE products and services, and provide exceptional, empathetic customer service. Store services may include cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines. Associates may work independently while remaining accountable for overall store performance. Travel is primarily local and may involve visiting more than one store in a day when necessary. The position involves scheduled shifts, typically eight hours and occasionally up to 12 hours, in a secure, enclosed work area. California-required meal and rest breaks are provided. Full-time associates are eligible for benefits subject to plan requirements; all associates may participate in the 401(k) plan subject to its plan document.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts, typically eight hours and occasionally up to 12 hours.
- Ability to work in a secure, enclosed work area.
- Ability to stand for extended periods; sit, walk, reach, stoop, bend, communicate verbally, and actively listen.
- Ability to see clearly at close and distant ranges and adjust focus as needed.
- May occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish proficiency is preferred or welcomed in most markets.
- Two or more years of retail experience is beneficial.
