About The Position

As a Bilingual Branch Banker in PNC’s Retail banking organization, the employee is based at the Church Street branch in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The role acquires and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service, identifies opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing, and collaborates with ecosystem partners to grow customer relationships. The banker positions PNC solutions to generate revenue and customer loyalty, delivers a full PNC conversation with each client, and creates a differentiated customer experience. The position also supports branch operations and manages risk by following policies and procedures and using sound judgment. The role is in-office. PNC will not sponsor employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

Typically requires at least 3 years of related experience or product knowledge.
An associate degree or equivalent is typically required; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Spanish speaking ability is preferred.
Candidates considered for the position will be subject to additional background checks required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.

Responsibilities

Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
Identify opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing and recommend appropriate PNC solutions.
Collaborate with ecosystem partners and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain customer relationships.
Conduct proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service-to-sales interactions, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement.
Deliver a full PNC conversation during every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
Build customer loyalty and grow customers’ share of wallet through a differentiated experience.
Educate customers about options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems.
Manage risk by adhering to policies and procedures, exercising sound judgment, and identifying and avoiding loss.
Participate in branch daily operations and ensure they are completed efficiently and accurately.
