About The Position

Surge Staffing is committed to connecting employees with customers and providing staffing and workforce-management solutions. The Bilingual Onsite Supervisor, fluent in English and Spanish or Creole, is primarily responsible for meeting the temporary staffing and/or training needs of a major Surge client. The role delivers high-quality service to the customer and temporary employees by matching temporary employees’ skills to customer needs, developing and retaining business through outstanding customer service, and completing administrative tasks that support quality service and performance. The supervisor may also supervise one or more On-site Staffing Specialists.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Fluency in English and Spanish or Creole.
• Proven leadership or success in a previous managerial role.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build or enhance successful business partnerships.
• At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience or 3–5 years of customer service experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Administrative skills.
• Experience performing background checks, I-9 processing, and E-Verify.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Meet a major Surge client’s temporary staffing and/or training needs.
• Deliver high-quality service to the customer and temporary employees.
• Match temporary employees’ skills to customer needs.
• Develop and retain business by providing outstanding customer service.
• Perform administrative tasks that support quality service and performance.
• Monitor employee attendance.
• Process and assist with workers’ compensation claims.
• Reconcile invoices from vendors.
• May supervise one or more On-site Staffing Specialists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
