About The Position

The Bilingual Onsite Supervisor is Midway Staffing’s floor leader at a client site in Niles, Illinois. The role is primarily spent on the operation floor coaching associates, monitoring performance and quality, reinforcing safety, and ensuring accurate timekeeping. The supervisor also handles attendance follow-up, associate concerns, HR conversations, daily reports, and serves as the primary contact for the client’s leadership team and associates on the shift. Approximately 15% of the role is devoted to recruiting, including screening and interviewing candidates and coordinating onboarding. The supervisor communicates in English and Spanish throughout each shift and works onsite Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with weekend support as needed. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Branch Manager.

Requirements

• Bilingual English and Spanish; both languages are used every shift.
• Supervisor or lead experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or light industrial setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comfort with Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite.
• Flexibility to help on weekends when needed.

• Experience with timekeeping systems or an Applicant Tracking System.

Responsibilities

• Coach associates on the floor each shift, providing real-time feedback on performance, quality, and expectations.
• Conduct daily safety walks, identify hazards, correct unsafe behavior, and reinforce safe work habits.
• Lead safety training and first-day orientation for new associates.
• Track attendance, review hours, process timecards, and approve them accurately and on time.
• Follow up on call-offs, tardiness, and attendance patterns, including having conversations when needed.
• Handle associate concerns and HR conversations with care and confidentiality.
• Prepare daily reports on rosters, attendance, and safety.
• Serve as the primary contact for client leadership and associates on the shift.
• Support recruiting by screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding.
• Partner with recruiters and the Branch Manager on staffing plans aligned with client goals.
• Provide weekend support when the operation requires it.
