About The Position

The Member Experience Associate delivers outstanding service and value to AAA Members through genuine care, personalized service, and by addressing Member needs across multiple branch locations. The role also carries individual sales accountability, with success measured against individual sales targets while supporting overall branch performance. Associates rotate among branches based on business needs and must adapt quickly to different teams, Member bases, products, services, systems, and processes. The position combines Member services and product sales across areas that may include Member Experience, Member Services, Concierge, DMV/MVD, Auto Travel, Unlicensed Insurance Services, and Smart Home Security. Associates use consultative sales techniques to identify needs, recommend relevant solutions, promote AAA products and services, and meet individual and branch goals while following standard operating procedures and compliance requirements. The role is primarily office-based and involves working at different branch locations, regular travel between locations, and Saturday shifts. Branch hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Pay is $23 per hour plus commission; starting hourly rates vary by region and range from $23.00 to $26.95. The incentive plan includes commissions, with most employees expected to earn $270–$3,500 annually depending on performance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
2–4 years of work experience, including at least 1 year in a sales role.
Sales experience is required.
Ability to demonstrate strong sales skills and meet or exceed goals.
Strong customer service orientation, active listening, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability.
Ability to learn AAA products, services, operations, and systems and adjust to different branch environments.
Ability to travel between locations and cover shifts at multiple branches, including Saturdays.
Bonding, fingerprinting, and Property and Casualty licensing may be required depending on branch needs.
Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 pounds; extended periods at a desk or computer workstation may be required.

Nice To Haves

Background in insurance, retail, hospitality, service industries, or call centers.
Demonstrated success working with defined sales standards and goals and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Customer service experience.
Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Deliver professional, friendly, and personalized service to Members across multiple branch locations.
Perform Member services and product sales across relevant fundamental skill areas, which may include Member Experience, Member Services, Concierge, DMV/MVD, Auto Travel, Unlicensed Insurance Services, and Smart Home Security.
Meet individual sales targets and contribute to branch goals by promoting AAA products and services and reinforcing the value of Membership.
Use consultative sales techniques to uncover Member needs, present relevant solutions, and close sales opportunities.
Identify and recommend solutions tailored to Member needs and adapt service delivery to different branch environments.
Build product knowledge and cross-functional skills to flex between service and sales responsibilities as branch needs require.
Use multiple computer systems and applications and adapt to differing branch system configurations and processes.
Follow standard operating procedures and compliance requirements, and support efficient end-to-end operations across assigned branches.
Travel between branch locations and cover shifts as needed, including Saturdays.
Develop quality working relationships with peers, leaders, and internal partners.
