About The Position

The Bilingual Loan Processing Associate assists English- and Spanish-speaking customers with consumer loan inquiries and supports loan processing and servicing. The role includes interviewing customers about loan details, answering questions, preparing and typing loan contracts, processing applications and transactions, assisting with closings, researching the history of current loans, and preparing reports. The associate maintains basic working knowledge of lending products and services and a satisfactory service level for call volumes and document preparation. Other duties may be assigned.

The position requires extended periods of sitting and constant operation of a computer and other office machinery. The associate must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong and accurate typing and data entry skills.
• Strong PC knowledge.
• Good phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to organize and prioritize.
• Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen according to company policy.
• Ability to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office machinery.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
