About The Position
The Bilingual Leasing Consultant serves as a key point of contact for prospective and current residents, helping them navigate the leasing process and understand the features and benefits of the residential community. The role requires fluency in English and Spanish to build relationships, address resident needs, and support leasing and occupancy goals. Candidates with leasing experience are welcome, as are those with backgrounds in sales, hospitality, or customer service. The position also supports application processing, property administration, marketing, community outreach, and daily operations. The consultant works on-site and may need to accommodate weekend schedules when required.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with property management software.
- Willingness to work on-site and accommodate weekend schedules when needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, sales, or customer service is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist prospective and current residents in English and Spanish through in-person, phone, and online communication.
- Conduct property tours and explain apartment features, rental rates, availability, and lease terms.
- Respond to inquiries, follow up with prospects, and help convert leads into completed applications.
- Provide professional assistance to residents and address questions or concerns promptly.
- Process rental applications, lease agreements, renewals, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate prospect and resident records in property management systems.
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and unit inspections.
- Help ensure leasing activities comply with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
- Support marketing efforts, community outreach, and lead-generation activities.
- Monitor apartment availability and assist with occupancy goals.
- Collaborate with the property management team to maintain smooth daily operations and a positive resident experience.
