About The Position

This is an hourly non-exempt position on the leasing team at a 244-unit apartment community located in Irving, near major freeways. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for making the first connection with potential residents, showing apartments, closing sales, and processing rental applications and leases in compliance with fair housing laws. The role requires a sales and customer service focus, with an emphasis on building relationships and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Good leasing and closing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to type 30 WPM and be organized
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or other similar programs
• Must be able to work Saturdays
• Valid Texas Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of leasing, customer service, or sales experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and residents
• Answering and returning resident calls, as well as email requests
• Completing guest cards and lease paperwork correctly and timely
• Selling features and amenities to prospective residents
