About The Position

As an Insurance Agent, you will primarily sell nonstandard auto insurance to new and existing customers. The role involves developing business, building relationships with customers, advising them on products suited to their needs, and supporting accurate handling and documentation of currency transactions and deposits. The position is onsite. The listed hourly pay range is $15–$19+, with a competitive base salary, uncapped monthly commissions, renewal commissions, and monthly bonus incentives.

Requirements

Sales or customer service experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to build relationships with sales customers.
Excellent follow-up and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ambition and motivation to advance professionally.

Nice To Haves

Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license (preferred, but not required).
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Solicit new business and maintain current business levels to achieve or exceed sales production goals.
Build relationships with existing customers to expand business and meet agreed-upon production goals.
Accurately account for currency transactions and deliver deposits to the bank on time, with scanned documentation in the agency management system.
Build client relationships and educate and advise customers on which products best fit their needs.
