About The Position

The Bilingual Customer Service Specialist works in a Sherwin-Williams retail store and serves wholesale and retail customers in person and over the phone. The role involves identifying customer needs, answering questions about products, recommending suitable solutions, resolving concerns, and supporting excellent customer satisfaction while meeting store sales goals. The specialist stays informed about product features and maintains product quality and store presentation standards.

The position also includes processing sales, maintaining work order files and formulas, retrieving and preparing products, tinting and mixing products to customer specifications, stocking shelves, setting up displays, cleaning equipment, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and assisting with deliveries as needed. The role requires following inventory control procedures and maintaining assigned areas in an in-stock and presentable condition.

The selected individual is expected to work at Store #5075, 200 Whalon Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420. The position may involve contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. A criminal history review is conducted for business and safety reasons.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• For current Sherwin-Williams employees: must have received at least a “meets expectations” (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal.
• For current Sherwin-Williams employees: must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for the current position.

Nice To Haves

• At least a high school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
• Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Portuguese.
