About The Position

BrokerLink is seeking a motivated and sales-oriented Bilingual Commercial Insurance Advisor to join their Commercial IBU Sales team in New Brunswick. This role involves building trusted relationships with small business clients, tailoring coverage solutions, and selling commercial insurance products to customers in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. The advisor will answer incoming calls from French- and English-speaking clientele, foster a climate of trust, close commercial sales, and provide excellent and timely customer service. The ideal candidate has a passion for exceptional customer experience, retention, and growth.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (French-English) is mandatory.
  • Previous P&C Commercial Insurance experience, or at least two years of Personal Insurance experience.
  • New Brunswick General Insurance Agent License - Level 1 (or willingness to obtain it).
  • Demonstrated sales competencies; outstanding sales acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Solid critical-thinking skills and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Accountable, goal-oriented, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line Commercial Insurance sales and customer service for small businesses.
  • Quote, sell, and write new business for new clients through inbound (queue) or outbound (prospecting) calls.
  • Work collaboratively with the Service team to prepare documentation for insurers, complete clients applications, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals.
  • Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policies.
  • Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes, and actively participate in training initiatives.
  • Process Account Receivable activities.
  • Participate in community marketing initiatives.
