About The Position
Healthcare Plus is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers fluent in Spanish to provide non-medical care and support to clients in their homes in McHenry County, Illinois. Caregivers assist clients with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain clients’ safety and well-being. The role involves supporting clients with personal care, meals, medication reminders, housekeeping, appointments, errands, and social outings, as well as monitoring health status and communicating with families and the care team.
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish.
- High school diploma, GED, or Letter of Experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Social security card.
- Reliability and compassion.
- Transportation to provide care to clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes.
- Maintain accurate records of client care activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
