About The Position
Healthcare Plus provides non-medical, non-CNA healthcare services in McHenry County, Illinois, helping clients maintain their quality of life in their own homes. The Bilingual Caregiver provides essential care and support to clients, assists with daily activities, offers companionship, and helps ensure client safety and well-being. The role is intended for compassionate, reliable caregivers fluent in Spanish who have transportation.
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish.
- High school diploma, GED, or Letter of Experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Social security card.
- Reliable transportation.
- Compassionate and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes.
- Maintain accurate records of client care activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
