About The Position
Healthcare Plus is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers fluent in Spanish to provide non-medical care and support to clients in their homes in McHenry County, Illinois. Caregivers assist with daily activities, offer companionship, and help ensure clients’ safety and well-being. The role involves supporting clients with personal care, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, appointments, errands, and social outings, while communicating with clients, families, and the care team and maintaining accurate care records.
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish.
- High school diploma, GED, or Letter of Experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Social security card.
- Reliable and compassionate.
- Transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes.
- Maintain accurate records of client care activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
