About The Position

Mac Haik Chevrolet is hiring a bilingual Business Development Representative for its used car location on Gessner in Houston. The role connects with customers about used vehicle inventory in English and Spanish through internet leads, phone calls, texts, and chat. The representative answers basic questions, schedules and confirms appointments, follows up with customers, maintains accurate CRM notes, and coordinates customer handoffs to the sales team. The schedule is five days per week, including Saturdays, with eight-hour shifts.

Requirements

Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
Friendly, upbeat, and confident on the phone.
Comfortable using computers, texting platforms, and CRM software.
Organized, with strong follow-up habits.
Competitive and motivated by goals and bonuses.
Valid driver’s license.
Able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Automotive BDC, sales, or call center experience.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly in English and Spanish to internet leads, phone calls, texts, and chat inquiries about used vehicle inventory.
Answer basic questions about vehicle availability, trade-ins, and financing options.
Set appointments for customers to see and test-drive vehicles.
Confirm appointments and follow up with customers who do not show up.
Follow up with customers who have not purchased or need a next step.
Keep detailed and accurate notes in the CRM.
Hand customers off smoothly to the sales team and keep them updated.
Meet daily activity goals for calls, texts, emails, and appointments set.
