About The Position

The BHT Supervisor directs and coordinates the delivery of programming excellence through assigned Behavioral Health Technicians, promoting health and well-being in our patient population. The BHT Supervisor must have strong communication skills, demonstrate the ability to lead teams, motivate others, and influence change. The BHT Supervisor may be required to participate in on-call shifts based on business needs, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.

Requirements

High School or GED (Required)
1+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting (Required)

Nice To Haves

6+ months leading teams or supervising others (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Assists in delivery of patient care in the milieu environment
Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates the work activities of assigned personnel
Assists in planning and establishing work schedules and assignments
Assists in the implementation of individualized patient treatment plans
Confers with other supervisors and managers to coordinate operations and activities including team meetings and pre/post preparations
Supervises the patient experience by providing patient supervision and support, facilitating psycho-educational groups as needed, providing structure/boundaries and contributing to the implementation of therapeutic programming including experiential therapy, behavioral intervention and bathroom/meal-time support, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment
