The Shift Supervisor (BHT) is responsible for aiding individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues, establishing open communication, and implementing house rules. Key duties include transporting clients, collaborating on treatment plans, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. This role also serves as a liaison between clinical and housing staff, maintaining open communication across shifts. The supervisor assists the Program Manager with monthly binder updates, audits, fire drills, and facility inspections, and helps with the orientation and training of new hire CAs. The position requires a flexible schedule and PRN availability, including attending mandatory virtual meetings outside of scheduled shifts. The supervisor must demonstrate exceptional client communication and de-escalation skills, work effectively with others, and provide training support to other CAs. Additionally, they assist the Program Manager in maintaining the environment of care, ensuring supplies are stocked, and the facility meets Avery's House standards, acting as a direct contact for housing staff.
