About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency in Arizona, providing residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. This Program Supervisor BHT role is seasonal, active during peak heat periods from May to October, with potential for continued employment. CBI is a premiere non-profit provider of substance use and behavioral health programs, utilizing cutting-edge, evidence-based models. In this position, the supervisor will deliver lifesaving support to vulnerable populations affected by extreme heat, collaborating with community members, local service providers, and internal teams to distribute resources, share information, and connect individuals with appropriate services. The role requires a strong commitment to community engagement, empathy, and responsiveness to urgent needs related to heat-related health issues.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the behavioral health field required.
  • Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing) required for Housing program staff.
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required for Housing program staff.
  • Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred.
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card preferred.
  • Peer Certification (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program.
  • Provide guidance and directions to assigned staff, including training, scheduling, skills and knowledge verification.
  • Ensure staff adhere to agency policy and procedure.
  • Provide direct service to members as needed.
  • Participate in staffing and shadowing staff for quality assurance purposes.
  • Positively represent the program and agency.
  • Provide coordination between various community partners.
  • Assist with program presentations.
  • Participate in meetings with the funder when determined necessary.
  • Responsible for the data quality of the HMIS entries.
  • Ensure staff complete daily staffing emails, services transactions, and case notes as indicated in program specific desktop procedures.
  • Ensure staff thoroughly document their efforts according to CBI Policy and Procedure.
  • Continuously review HMIS reports.
  • Deliver lifesaving support to vulnerable populations affected by extreme heat.
  • Collaborate with community members, local service providers, and internal teams to distribute resources and share information.
  • Connect people in need with appropriate services.
