About The Position

The Beverage Server provides prompt, courteous service to guests, including taking drink orders, suggestive selling, serving beverages, clearing tables, and handling guest payments. The role helps create an exceptional guest experience by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, building relationships, and fostering guest loyalty at Hard Rock Casino Rockford. The position also requires maintaining a clean service station, completing setup duties on time, and following food and beverage policies and State Liquor Laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License, and IGB Badge when working.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Positive, friendly, and outgoing attitude; common courtesy; and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to withstand noisy environments.

• Build and retain guest relationships and support team members in delivering superior guest service.
• Take drink orders, serve beverages, and collect payment courteously and efficiently.
• Follow food and beverage policies and State Liquor Laws.
• Complete required setup duties on time.
• Keep the service station clean.
• Promote positive customer relations.
• Receive monies and settle guest checks.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
• Attend seminars when needed.
