About The Position

At Ko-Kwel Casino Resort, the Beverage Server creates welcoming guest experiences on the casino floor by providing prompt, attentive beverage service and following responsible beverage practices. The role involves serving drinks with a tray, maintaining beverage supplies, and keeping the service area and tray clean, safe, and sanitary. The server works closely with bartenders and teammates, supports smooth operations, and reports safety concerns. The casino environment may expose team members to secondhand smoke. The resort is owned by the Coquille Indian Tribe.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have or be able to obtain a valid OLCC permit and a food handlers card.
Pass and remain compliant with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug-free workplace policies.
Have excellent customer service skills and a team-oriented, self-motivated approach.
Have organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate clearly and positively with guests and teammates.
Remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure, including when handling stressful situations or upset people.
Be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Nice To Haves

GED or high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide beverage service throughout the gaming floor, carrying and serving drinks with tray service.
Keep beverage inventory and supplies stocked, including restocking for the next shift.
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary tray.
Greet guests warmly and professionally.
Follow responsible alcohol service practices and communicate effectively with the bartender and team.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and friendly space for guests and coworkers, and report safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
Support the team as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
