About The Position
As a Beverage Server at the Washington Hilton, you provide food and drink service while creating memorable guest experiences through friendly, attentive hospitality. You learn menu items, promotions, and specials; take and enter orders into the point-of-sale system; deliver orders promptly; maintain a clean, stocked, and organized service station; and follow applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations. Responsibilities
- Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make guests’ experiences special.
- Learn menu items, promotions, and specials to assist guests and answer questions confidently.
- Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver completed orders promptly and accurately.
- Keep the service station stocked, clean, and organized.
- Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
