About The Position

As a Banquet Server at Hilton Vancouver Washington, you provide food and beverage service and help create memorable guest experiences. The role involves learning menu items and specials, taking and entering orders into a point-of-sale system, delivering orders, maintaining service stations, clearing tableware, preparing banquet spaces, and complying with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations. This is an on-call position scheduled according to events and requires open, flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed. Pay is $17.13 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of serving experience, preferably in banquets.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed, with open availability.
• Open and flexible availability based on event scheduling.

Nice To Haves

• Hotel experience is preferred.
• Banquet serving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their experience special.
• Learn menu items and specials to confidently assist guests and answer questions.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and promptly deliver completed orders.
• Keep the service station stocked, clean, and organized.
• Remove dishware, glassware, and silverware after meal service and take them to the dishwashing area.
• Assist with cleaning, arranging, and setting banquet tables, and restocking supplies for events.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
