About The Position

The Banquet Server delivers food and beverage service and creates memorable guest experiences at Hilton Columbus Downtown. The role includes interacting warmly with guests, learning menu offerings, taking and entering orders, delivering orders, maintaining service stations, clearing and transporting tableware, and helping prepare banquet events. Team members are expected to uphold health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness standards and demonstrate Hilton’s values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make the guest experience special.
• Learn menu items and specials to answer guest questions confidently.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and promptly deliver completed orders with attention to detail.
• Keep the service station stocked, clean, and organized.
• Remove dishware, glassware, and silverware after meal service and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Assist with cleaning, arranging, and setting banquet tables and restocking supplies for events.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
