About The Position

The Barista at the Washington Hilton provides food and beverage service while creating memorable guest experiences. The role includes preparing coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standardized recipes and guest preferences; learning menu items and specials; taking and entering orders in the point-of-sale system; and completing orders promptly. The Barista is expected to bring a friendly, upbeat attitude to guest interactions and follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make each guest’s experience special.
• Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standardized recipes and guest preferences.
• Learn menu items and specials to assist guests and answer questions confidently.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and complete orders promptly and accurately.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
