About the position
Box is seeking an experienced Benefits Analyst to join their Total Rewards team. This role will involve being the initial point of contact for employees regarding benefits needs, providing customer service and advice on benefits programs, managing benefits and wellness inquiries, resolving eligibility issues, and administering various benefits programs. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, 3-5 years of experience in benefits, knowledge of federal and state regulations, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities
- Act as initial point of contact for Boxers regarding benefits needs
- Provide timely customer service and advice on the provisions of all benefits and wellness programs
- Manage the daily benefits policy and operational support for employees and managers
- Troubleshoot enrollment and eligibility issues
- Resolve eligibility issues and navigate Boxers through the benefits enrollment process
- Manage the administration and record-keeping of Leave of Absence, ADAAA administration, Workers' Compensation, ACA, and 401(k) programs
- Manage COBRA Administration Program
- Manage and support benefit elections and life events
- Manage and guarantee accuracy of benefits overviews and information available on the company intranet
- Support employees by leveraging the ServiceDesk ticketing system
- Administer quarterly and annual audits on programs and integrations
- Support for annual Open Enrollment
- Work under broad direction and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in benefits
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations, filings, and compliance around COBRA, FMLA, CFRA, PDL, HIPAA, 401K, and Workers' Compensation
- Strong analytical experience
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data cleanliness/integrity
- Experience with Workday and Excel
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees with discretion and good judgment
- Knowledge of HR and Benefits Administration policies and practices
- Ability to prioritize work and work in a fast-paced environment
