About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Team. Depending on current skills, the role involves restoring jewelry, performing repairs, and designing and creating custom jewelry. Team members deliver customer-first service and work to exceed expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying availability, including some nights and weekends.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original beauty.
• Perform jewelry repairs, which may include chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, mounting creation, channel and platinum rebuilds, and minor ring repairs.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
• Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work.
• Deliver customer-first service and meet customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
