About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their current skillset. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continued learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. The role is based at the Belden Village Mall in Canton, Ohio. Full-time work consists of a 40-hour work week, with varying hours that may include some nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Repair chains and clasps.
Re-tip prongs and set stones.
Create stone mountings.
Perform channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repairs, and other jewelry repairs.
Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
Design and create custom jewelry pieces.
Perform CAD/CAM design work.
Restore jewelry and deliver customer-first service for custom jewelry design and repairs.
