About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their current skillset. The role focuses on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is competitive and reflects the jeweler’s skills and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime; hours vary and may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service-minded approach and high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
Design and create custom, one-of-a-kind jewelry according to current skillset.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for jewelry design and repair.
Perform applicable bench work such as chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design, and CAD/CAM design work.
