About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler for its Field Design & Service Center Team. The role provides a training program to develop skills toward becoming a Bench Jeweler, with opportunities to advance from apprentice to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Candidates with basic jewelry or repair knowledge are welcome, as are candidates with a passion and desire to learn the trade.

Apprentices learn the business through administrative responsibilities, customer service, interacting with stores and customers, completing clerical tasks, photographing jewelry for intake and tracking, and learning jewelry repair basics such as polishing and quality control. The Design & Service Center Team focuses on delivering a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.

Requirements

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Multitasking and time-management skills.
• Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design is preferred but not required.
• High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time work consists of a 40-hour work week with seasonal required overtime.
