About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Depending on skillset, the role involves restoring jewelry, performing repairs, and designing custom jewelry. Team members provide customer-first service and work to exceed customer expectations for jewelry design and repair. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test assessing current jeweler skill level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Seasonal required overtime.

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and beauty.
Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, minor ring repair, and other repairs.
Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
