About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design custom, one-of-a-kind pieces based on their skills. The role offers opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan through Jeweler training programs, continuous learning, and a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skillset and experience. The position is located at the Westpark Shopping Center in Boise, Idaho.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler skill level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Full-time schedule consists of a 40-hour work week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition.
Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, minor ring repair, and other repairs.
Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
Perform wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design work.
Design and create custom jewelry pieces.
Deliver customer-first service for custom jewelry design and repairs.
