About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team at Baybrook Gateway Shopping Center in Webster, Texas. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces according to their current skillset. The role is part of a promote-from-within environment, with training and continuous learning opportunities to help jewelers develop from entry-level skills to artisan-level work. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and high standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
• Perform chain and clasp repairs.
• Re-tip prongs and set stones.
• Create stone mountings.
• Perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform minor ring repairs and other jewelry repairs.
• Carve wax and fabricate jewelry.
• Cast jewelry.
• Design and create custom jewelry pieces.
• Perform CAD/CAM design work.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
