About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team at Pearland Town Center in Pearland, Texas. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skillset. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers Jeweler training and continuous learning in a promote-from-within environment, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan. Pay is described as competitive and reflective of current jeweler skillset and experience.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service-minded approach and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time schedule consists of a 40-hour work week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, ring and jewelry repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, or CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

• Repair chains and clasps.
• Re-tip prongs and set stones.
• Create stone mountings.
• Perform channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repairs, and other jewelry repairs.
• Carve wax and fabricate jewelry.
• Perform casting.
• Design and create custom jewelry pieces.
• Perform CAD/CAM design work.
• Restore jewelry to its original condition and provide custom jewelry design and repair services.
