About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their current skillset. They provide a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. The company offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service-minded, with a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Full-time schedule consists of a 40-hour work week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge or skills in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition.
Perform jewelry repairs and, depending on skillset, design and create custom jewelry.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Perform applicable bench-jewelry work such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
