About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skillset. They are expected to provide a customer-first experience and deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds customer expectations. The role offers opportunities to develop and advance through jeweler training and continuous learning in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler skill level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service-minded approach and high standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• Experience with chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, or CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
• Design and create custom jewelry, depending on skillset.
• Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repair services.
• Perform jewelry work that may include chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design.
