About The Position

The Bell Ringer rings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations. The role is seasonal and full-time, with a schedule of 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. The rate of pay is $11.00 per hour.

The Bell Ringer ensures the kettle is never left unattended, greets the public courteously and in a friendly manner, and conducts duties in accordance with The Salvation Army's ministry and Christian principles.

Requirements

• Meet attendance requirements.
• Stand in one location for extended periods in outdoor weather conditions, with breaks and lunch periods as required by state law.
• Perform duties primarily standing, with brief or occasional periods of sitting or walking.
• Perform a limited amount of physical effort involving lifting and carrying light objects weighing less than 25 pounds for 5–10% of working time.
• No formal education or experience requirements.
• No licenses or certifications required.

• Ensure the kettle is never left unattended.
• Greet the public in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Conduct job duties in accordance with the ministry of The Salvation Army and its Christian principles.
