About The Position

Rings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations, ensures the Kettle is never left unattended, and greets the public in a courteous and friendly manner. The role is seasonal and part-time, with duties performed outdoors in changing weather and exposure to noise, dust, and dirt. Employees are expected to conduct their work in accordance with The Salvation Army’s ministry and Christian principles, and to communicate and perform their duties professionally.

Requirements

• Meet attendance requirements.
• Stand in one location for extended periods outdoors, with breaks and lunch periods as required by state law.
• Understand and perform duties in accordance with The Salvation Army’s mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, protocol, and Christian principles.
• Perform duties primarily standing, with brief or occasional periods of sitting or walking.
• Lift and carry light objects weighing less than 25 pounds for 5–10% of work time.
• No formal education or experience requirements.
