About The Position

The Bell Ringer supports The Salvation Army Christmas Program by ringing bells at assigned locations. The role involves greeting the public courteously, ensuring the kettle does not impede store business, and performing duties in accordance with The Salvation Army’s ministry and Christian principles. The position is seasonal and full-time, based in Beaumont, Texas, with an hourly pay range of $13.00 to $15.00. The stated schedule is Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with any job shift listed.

Requirements

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to stand in one location for extended periods outdoors, with breaks and lunch periods as required by state law.
• Ability to perform duties and communications professionally and in accordance with The Salvation Army’s mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, protocol, and Christian principles.
• Ability to perform duties primarily while standing, with brief or occasional periods of sitting or walking.
• Ability to lift and carry light objects weighing less than 25 pounds; this is required for 5–10% of work time.
• No formal education or experience requirements.
• No licenses or certifications required.
